Does it need the internet during the service?
No. You need the internet once to download the speech model (about 142 MB), and again only if you choose to write sermon notes. Listening and finding verses run on the laptop.
Will it understand my pastor’s accent?
We cannot promise that yet. We have not measured accuracy on Nigerian-accented English, Pidgin, Yoruba or Hausa, and the speech model hears English only. That is what the free plan is for: try it on your own pulpit.
Is it really hands-free?
Partly. Clearly spoken references can go to the screen on their own, and you can switch that to “Ask first”. Quoted verses and verses put in other words always wait for your operator. Lyrics follow the part your operator taps.
When can members get the app?
An early, read-only version is online now. Members scan the church’s QR code or open its link to read published notes. Saving your own takeaways and searching past sermons are planned. Join the waitlist and we will tell you when they arrive.
What do I need to run it?
A Windows laptop with a processor from 2013 or later. Windows may show a warning when you first open the installer, because the app is not code-signed yet.
Is Band mode ready?
Not yet. It is in testing: one hymn is built, and the piano follows the singer. We will say plainly when more is ready.
Which Bible translations are included?
KJV, ASV and the Berean Standard Bible, all in the public domain. NIV, ESV, NKJV and others are licensed by their publishers, so we do not include them. If your church holds a licence, you can add that Bible from a file.
